曾在倫敦學了3年的表演。
第一次在電視上展露頭角是在1990年她19歲時，參加的一個相親節(jié)目，不過以失敗告終。
2004年曾被提名勞倫斯·奧利弗戲劇獎最佳女主角獎。
在她18年的演藝生涯當中，大多時候只出現(xiàn)在電視銀幕上，參加了10幾部劇集和電影電視的演出。參演的影片只有2-3部，而且都是比較小的角色。
