成長(zhǎng)經(jīng)歷
謝瑪·摩爾在加利福尼亞州的奧克蘭出生，父親叫SherrodMoore，擁有愛(ài)爾蘭、法國(guó)以及加拿大三國(guó)血統(tǒng)的混血兒。父母離異后，Shemar與他的母親，輾轉(zhuǎn)移居巴林，英國(guó)，希臘及非洲各國(guó)。Shemar后來(lái)因?yàn)楂@得了SantaClara大學(xué)的一個(gè)棒球獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金而順利進(jìn)入大學(xué)。
在大學(xué)，為了生計(jì)，他開(kāi)始當(dāng)模特，由于單邊肩膀受到損傷而提前結(jié)束了他的棒球生涯。之后Shemar決定搬到紐約，在那里他進(jìn)入了一個(gè)很有名的模特經(jīng)紀(jì)公司成為了一名平面和T臺(tái)模特。他有幸被一個(gè)執(zhí)行制作發(fā)掘，在《TheYoung&TheRestles》中出演MalcolmWinters一角。1995年Shemar主演了MV“HowManyWays”，2000年Shemar贏得了艾美獎(jiǎng)戲劇類(lèi)最佳男配角。他的作品包括：BirdsofPrey系列，電影HowtoMarryaBillionaire等。
2007年7月20日，Moore針對(duì)PeopleMagazine和InTouchWeekly這兩本周刊報(bào)道他是一個(gè)同性戀，同時(shí)刊登了他在一個(gè)同志海灘休息時(shí)的裸照，發(fā)表了聲明，他說(shuō)：“你看，我沒(méi)有什么不正常的地方。他們?cè)噲D把我塑造成一個(gè)同性戀才是我現(xiàn)在遇到的最匪夷所思的事情，我必須要說(shuō)：我不是同性戀。我愛(ài)女人。女人是上帝最偉大的創(chuàng)造�！�
2009年8月，Moore外出騎車(chē)時(shí)，意外被一輛汽車(chē)撞到，使其承受了腿部骨折的痛苦。發(fā)生車(chē)禍后，謝瑪-摩爾被送往當(dāng)?shù)蒯t(yī)院進(jìn)行治療。
