·克拉克·鄧肯（Michael Clarke Duncan，1957年12月10日--2012年9月3日），出生在伊利諾斯州芝加哥南區(qū)的一個(gè)單親家庭，是由母親撫養(yǎng)帶大的。盡管出生在毒品和酗酒流行的區(qū)域，邁克爾卻是一個(gè)不沾毒品的孝順兒。就在他在密西西比阿爾康州立大學(xué)就讀期間，他因?yàn)槟赣H患病而輟學(xué)回家，擔(dān)負(fù)起了支撐家庭的重?fù)?dān)。
邁克爾小時(shí)候的愿望是踢足球而不是藝術(shù)表演，但是他的這種想法遭到了母親的反對(duì)，因?yàn)樗龘?dān)心他會(huì)因此而受到傷害。于是，他就把目標(biāo)轉(zhuǎn)向藝術(shù)表演，夢(mèng)想成為一個(gè)著名的演員。中學(xué)畢業(yè)后，邁克爾在坎卡基社區(qū)大學(xué)讀書。大學(xué)畢業(yè)后，他在芝加哥的民族天然氣公司做工，為該公司開挖地溝。此后不久，邁克爾來到了好萊塢，開始在影片中出演一些小的角色，并兼任保鏢工作，他的雇主包括威爾·史密斯、馬丁·勞倫斯、杰米·�？怂埂L·庫(kù)爾·J和the Notorious B.l.G。洛杉磯時(shí)間2012年9月3日因心肌梗塞引發(fā)的并發(fā)癥，病逝於洛杉磯醫(yī)院，享年54歲。
成就作品
《綠里奇跡》導(dǎo)演德拉邦特（Frank Darabont）在《肖申克的救贖》之后的又一部監(jiān)獄題材的影片，這次主演換成了當(dāng)時(shí)正值巔峰時(shí)期的湯姆·漢克斯。雖然本片沒有能延續(xù)《肖申克的救贖》口碑上的神話，但也算表現(xiàn)不俗，頗受到一些好評(píng)。
在這部以“奇跡”為主要內(nèi)容的影片中，奇跡沒有被過度神化，而更多的展現(xiàn)的是仁慈和憐憫。奇跡因仁慈和憐憫而出現(xiàn)，也因?yàn)槭澜缛鄙龠@種仁慈和憐憫而消失�？ǚ�，這個(gè)如傳說中的力士一般的黑巨人，不知道從哪里來，也不知道為什么會(huì)擁有奇跡的力量，但湯姆·漢克斯飾演的男主角，雖然沒有奇跡的力量，但他卻是人間仁慈與憐憫的擁有者，也成為被奇跡眷顧的幸運(yùn)兒。
基本上，這部影片還是一部“主旋律”影片，宣揚(yáng)愛與仁慈，懲戒恨與惡毒。盡管主題過于明確立意過于正確，但一來是奇跡部分處理得引人入勝，二來監(jiān)獄死刑題材也算偏門（至少電椅死刑以前只是聽說，卻不知道還有這么些奇特的細(xì)節(jié)），所以整部影片還是非常好看，兩個(gè)多小時(shí)的情節(jié)根本不覺得長(zhǎng)，而且?guī)讉�(gè)奇跡的場(chǎng)面卻是能給人留下深刻的印象，算是一部“人道主義”的佳作吧。
