The Troggs是60年代早期的一支成功的樂隊，Troggs據(jù)說是troglodyte的縮寫，中文譯為穴居人。樂隊來自英格蘭南部城市Andover，無論在英國或是美國各大排行榜上都可以見到他們的歌，包括他們最出名的兩支單曲也是被翻唱無數(shù)次的"Wild Thing"和"Love Is All Around" ，特別是后者因它的沈暗唱腔，他的迷藥音符，顯得更絕異。俘虜了萬千樂迷，此碟在英碟榜十五星期冠軍，如非經(jīng)理人要求唱片公司停制造此碟，以免此曲過於熱度澎漲而影響之后歌曲，不然冠軍星期必不上于此！后來Wet Wet Wet重唱了The Troggs的Love Is All Around，樂迷仍無不被TheTroggs那種成熟而動聽的歌唱迷倒。雖然樂隊的音樂像大多數(shù)早期的英倫入侵一樣旋律上朗朗上口，但其實The Troggs確是對后來英國的garage rock和punk rock產(chǎn)生過重大影響的一支樂隊，Iggy Pop和Ramones等都承認The Troggs對他們的影響相當(dāng)大。
