人物簡介
Marie Chouinard (瑪麗舒娜)，生于1955年5月14日，一位來自加拿大的舞蹈編導，創(chuàng)立了自己的舞蹈公司。
1978年瑪麗舒娜有了自己第一個藝術概念，《Crystallization》（結晶）。經歷了十二年的編舞與演出的藝術生涯，她在 1990建立了自己的公司——COMPAGNIE MARIE CHOUINARD（瑪麗舒娜公司）。 瑪麗舒娜曾旅居于紐約、柏林、巴厘島和 尼泊爾。她熱愛旅行，充滿好奇心，她對技巧的理解和適中的研究使得她通過不同的方式去探索人的身體，她創(chuàng)作過的獨舞和群舞作品超過五十個。從1978年起，這種工作就反映出了這位令人驚訝的編導對于創(chuàng)作的不同認識：舞蹈對于她來說是一種神圣的藝術，身體則像是一個連接她于這種藝術的媒介，集成了在不同領域里創(chuàng)意與表演的每一新發(fā)現。 對于她來說，當將對身體的不同文化理解集合時，就像古典樂的結構一個元素響應著另一個，會產生無限智慧。她的原料就是舞者們的肉體、骨骼和肌肉，和人類本能地至關重要的肉體連接的沖動。舞者軀體的每一驛動，均是一個器官的思想，每一個跳出的節(jié)拍，盡情散發(fā)人類的本能，舞出生機滿溢的情感，大膽、創(chuàng)新，聲與色的舞蹈熱透觀眾的耳目及心靈，這個職業(yè)的意義，使每一個姿態(tài)都成為嵌入身體的思考“元素”，反映舞者的靈魂存在于器官、細胞和一個積極的循環(huán)之中。為肉體慶祝就像是一個為生活慶祝的媒介，瑪麗舒娜和她的貢獻者們一同創(chuàng)編著，透過神秘的聲音和千變萬化的形式展現了一個世界的原始之光和被釋放的炙熱動態(tài)。
評價
瑪麗舒娜被公認為歐美前衛(wèi)舞蹈的教主。曾經她在舞臺上丟過雞蛋，在藝廊大膽地尿尿，拍賣自己，公開自慰……她并不只是在燈光下嘩眾取寵，只是她選擇舞蹈的開始就是一場反叛的旅程。在舞壇 三十年，帶來的均是驚喜及贊嘆，無論是個人演繹的或是舞團的作品皆見精細、妙絕、肉欲、狂野。舞團在瑪麗．舒娜的帶領下，被法國《世界報》贊譽為“現今最百變多樣的舞團”；《紐約時報》稱她的作品為“一股放肆的想象 旋風”�，旣悾婺鹊奈璧柑旌蟮匚�，令她奪取多個獎項，包括紐約 貝茲舞蹈及表演獎(Bessie Award)、Jean A. Chalmers編舞大獎及2007年蒙特利爾藝術委員會大獎。
