博士生導(dǎo)師。澳大利亞悉尼大學(xué)博士，悉尼大學(xué)農(nóng)業(yè)化學(xué)系博士后，2002年回國。2005年教育部新世紀(jì)優(yōu)秀人才，國家杰出青年基金獲得者。在澳大利亞悉尼大學(xué)參與了多項(xiàng)由澳大利亞政府及工業(yè)界資助的重大科研項(xiàng)目包括農(nóng)藥的生物降解以及根瘤菌在極端環(huán)境下的生存機(jī)制的研究�；貒院髤⑴c組建了天津市功能基因組與生物芯片研究中心。發(fā)表國際微生物期刊論文31篇,全部被SCI收錄，總影響因子88, 獲得國內(nèi)發(fā)明專利54項(xiàng)，申請國際發(fā)明專利3項(xiàng)。主要研究工作：1）利用比較基因組學(xué)方法進(jìn)行微生物進(jìn)化的研究；2）細(xì)菌表面多糖抗原基因的功能和分子進(jìn)化的研究；3）重要病源微生物的特異分子標(biāo)識的篩選；4）利用基因組學(xué)和功能基因組學(xué)方法進(jìn)行重要工業(yè)微生物系統(tǒng)生物學(xué)的研究。
