1982.7:西南民族學(xué)院畜牧獸醫(yī)系畜牧專業(yè)本科畢業(yè),獲學(xué)士學(xué)位;
1990.7:北京農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)動物遺傳育種專業(yè)研究生畢業(yè),獲博士學(xué)位;
1990.7至今:北京農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)畜牧系(1995年后更名為中國農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)動物科技學(xué)院)工作,歷任講師(1990.7)、副教授(1993.1)、教授(1999.1);
1996.6-1997.6:美國弗吉尼亞理工大學(xué)(Virginia Tech)訪問教授。
社會兼職
兼任世界家禽學(xué)會主席、中國畜牧獸醫(yī)學(xué)會動物遺傳育種分會理事長、國家畜禽遺傳資源委員會委員兼家禽專業(yè)組組長、農(nóng)業(yè)部家禽品質(zhì)監(jiān)督檢驗(yàn)測試中心(北京)常務(wù)副主任,擔(dān)任Poultry Science、BMC Genomics、J. of Animal Science and Biotechnology、FASE、中國農(nóng)業(yè)科學(xué)、畜牧獸醫(yī)學(xué)報、中國畜牧雜志等國內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)刊物編委。
