1946年后的國(guó)民政府和總統(tǒng)府時(shí)期辟為外賓接待室。各國(guó)使節(jié)遞交國(guó)書(shū)，舉行儀式及攝影后，即迎至室內(nèi)與主席或總統(tǒng)晤談。其他重要賓客也在此接待，如馬歇爾、司徒雷登、魏德邁等。

This western-style building was originally built in 1917, when General Feng Guozhang was served as the Jiangsu Military Governor. It was used as the reception room by General Feng and the Nationalist Government later. During the periods of the Nationalist Government and the Presidential Palace after 1946, it was used as "the Reception House for Foreign Guests". Here Chiang Kai-shek received many important foreign visitors, such as General Marshall, J. L. Stuart, A. Wedemeyer and so on.
