寇煦豐2009年獲得竺可楨學(xué)院特優(yōu)畢業(yè)生榮譽。后于2009年至2014年赴美國加州大學(xué)洛杉磯分校電子工程系深造,師從Raytheon講座教授Kang L. Wang,獲得微電子器件方向碩士及博士學(xué)位?莒阖S的主要研究領(lǐng)域包括新型半導(dǎo)體電子材料研究以及相應(yīng)微納電子/自旋電子器件應(yīng)用。在攻讀博士期間,寇煦豐共發(fā)表了35篇SCI索引論文,并且大部分見于國際頂級學(xué)術(shù)期刊,如Nature Materials (1篇), Nature Nanotechnology (1),Phys. Rev. Lett. (1), Nano Lett. (5),ACS Nano (3), J. Amer. Chem. Soc. (1);截止2015年3月,文章累計被引用700余次。此外,寇煦豐還獲得了2012年度美國高通公司Qualcomm Innovation fellowship獎學(xué)金以及2013年度國家優(yōu)秀自費留學(xué)生獎學(xué)金。
2017年7月21日,學(xué)術(shù)期刊《科學(xué)》(Science)在線發(fā)表四位華人科學(xué)家領(lǐng)銜的科研團隊的最新研究成果:首次發(fā)現(xiàn)“手性馬約拉納費米子”。它的獨特之處在于,是費米子中唯一的正反同體粒子。這一研究成果由美國加利福尼亞大學(xué)洛杉磯分校王康隆課題組主導(dǎo),斯坦福大學(xué)張首晟課題組及上?萍即髮W(xué)寇煦豐課題組等8家單位合作完成。通訊作者何慶林、寇煦豐、張首晟、王康隆,均為華人科學(xué)家。
