查爾頓·赫斯頓 - 人物簡(jiǎn)介

1924年出生在伊利諾斯的查爾頓·赫斯頓，是美國(guó)影壇一位素以扮演英雄人物見(jiàn)長(zhǎng)的影星。主演了1952年影片《戲中之王》（The Greatest Show on Earth）后他的電影事業(yè)開(kāi)始起飛，1959年的《賓虛傳》（Ben-Hur）標(biāo)志著他巔峰時(shí)刻的到來(lái)。盡管在影片中經(jīng)常會(huì)扮演一些偉大人物，但他更愿意談?wù)撾娪笆聵I(yè)中的日常瑣事，尤其是編劇、導(dǎo)演等幕后工作人員對(duì)他成功的幫助。進(jìn)入晚年后，赫赫斯開(kāi)始對(duì)右翼政治問(wèn)題產(chǎn)生濃厚興趣，甚至大過(guò)對(duì)表演的興趣。

1949年他在歷史片《尤利烏斯·愷撒》中成功的扮演了名將安東尼奧，初露鋒芒。進(jìn)入50年代，海斯頓片約不斷，由于他身材魁梧，五官線(xiàn)條剛毅，尤其是他的希臘鼻，使得其出演的影片多為大場(chǎng)面、大制作的電影，而角色亦幾乎都是圣人、偉人、望族、將軍、領(lǐng)袖等人物，因而促成了查爾登·海斯頓能快速竄紅的有利因素。

1959年終憑超級(jí)史詩(shī)巨片《賓虛》榮獲奧斯卡影帝桂冠。70年代他又推出了包括《猿人星球》、《大地震》、《中途島》等商業(yè)大片，亦樹(shù)立了其銀幕超級(jí)硬漢形象。1977年榮獲奧斯卡人道主義大獎(jiǎng)。80年代他多以拍電視為主，主演了史詩(shī)劇集《王朝》。1989年應(yīng)北京人民藝術(shù)劇院之邀前來(lái)執(zhí)導(dǎo)話(huà)劇《嘩變》。還曾任美國(guó)電影學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)。至90年代仍偶有客串演出，并以其渾厚的嗓音在幕后擔(dān)任配音和旁白工作。他最近的一部電影是2003年的《我的父親》。
