早年經歷
弗雷澤出生在美國的印第安納波利斯，但在歐洲和加拿大長大。從12歲起，他就開始在倫敦劇院演出，贏得過不少榮譽。由于父親是一位加拿大旅游管理者，布蘭登·弗萊瑟從小就經常搬家。渥太華、印第安納波利斯、底特律、西雅圖、倫敦和羅馬都是他曾經居住過的地方。他早期舞臺經歷，特別是在倫敦的，讓他考到了西雅圖的康沃爾學院。畢業(yè)之后他在瑞夫·芬尼克斯的電影《索男撒錯網》(1991)中獲得了一個小角色，扮演水手，然后在《高校風云》中獲得了一個戲分更重的角色。在表演中，他表現出了對捕魚人角色的偏愛。五年多的配角生涯鍛煉了他，在1997年他終于得到了電影《森林泰山》里面的一個主要角色。這個角色充分展現了他帥氣的外型和耀眼的喜劇天賦，是他演藝生涯的一個轉折點。1999年的《木乃伊》也是他演藝生涯的另一個里程碑。他曾被《人物》雜志選為“世界上最美麗的五十個人”之一。隨后幾年鮮有佳作問世。2007年熱拍的《木乃伊3》使他重回全球觀眾視線。
