　　學士： 1983 年， 河北地質(zhì)學院水文地質(zhì)和工程地質(zhì)學.

　　碩士： 1986 年， 中國科學院蘭州冰川凍土研究所自然地理學。

　　博士： 1993年， 加拿大渥太華大學 （University of Ottawa) 地質(zhì)系凍土學。

　　博士后研究： 1993 - 1995 年在加拿大拉瓦爾大學 (Laval University) 北方研究中心。

　　現(xiàn)在加拿大渥太華生活和工作。
