學(xué)術(shù)研究
近年來主要從事與地球表層過程和環(huán)境演變有關(guān)的有機地球化學(xué)和生物地球化學(xué)等方面的工作。通過對中國邊緣海區(qū)有機地球化學(xué)沉積記錄的提取,重建了東亞晚新生代植被變遷和表層海水溫度變化的歷史。通過對現(xiàn)代土壤、泥炭及水體顆粒物和沉積物中的有機質(zhì)、營養(yǎng)鹽及其碳?xì)涞凰氐难芯刻接懥私F(xiàn)代環(huán)境變化、單糖類化合物的植物指示意義、流域和海洋氮循環(huán)、以及生物標(biāo)志物的碳?xì)渫凰氐闹脖、降水和山脈高程的指示意義等方面的科學(xué)問題。目前感興趣的研究內(nèi)容有:(1)晚新生代,特別是第四紀(jì)以來,地球環(huán)境系統(tǒng)演變的有機生物地球化學(xué)重建。這方面的工作主要集中于海洋和陸相沉積物的研究,從事沉積物中分子有機地球化學(xué)指標(biāo)及相關(guān)的C、H、N同位素的分析提取工作。目的是深入了解海洋生態(tài)系統(tǒng)、營養(yǎng)鹽循環(huán)系統(tǒng)、陸地水汽和生態(tài)系統(tǒng)在古全球變化中的相互作用及其反饋機制;(2)現(xiàn)代環(huán)境中天然有機物和氮化合物的分子及同位素地球化學(xué)特征及其對環(huán)境的響應(yīng)。通過對現(xiàn)代環(huán)境系統(tǒng)中的天然有機質(zhì)和氮循環(huán)的生物地球化學(xué)過程的了解,可以為古環(huán)境指標(biāo)的有效應(yīng)用提供科學(xué)依據(jù)。
