史上最忙碌的俄羅斯籍DJ/制作人DJ Vadim。DJ Vadim (aka VadiDJ Vadimm Peare)本名Andrey Gurov，人稱hip hop界的John Coltrane，1992年被Ninja Tune簽下，1995年創(chuàng)立自己的廠牌Jazz Fudge。他不僅多產(chǎn)，除了DJ/制作人之外還身兼多樣職務，合作過的對象更是不計其數(shù)，而且都大有來頭。像是日本抽象hip hop大師DJ Krush、紐約underground hip hop名團Company Flow、來自費城的jazz hip hop巨星The Roots、LA的The Pharcyde與Dilated People、美國東岸hardcore/political rap沙場老將Public Enemy、由一群菲律賓裔的美國DJ組成的Beat Junkies等。他的才華不只在hip hop圈中受重視，包括drum n’ bass名制作人Ed Rush、德國電子音樂先驅(qū)Kraftwerk、英國trip hop團Morcheeba、英國搖滾大團Super Furry Animal以及The Jam與The Style Council首腦Paul Weller等，都曾經(jīng)合作過，可見DJ Vadim的才華洋溢。

　　除了以DJ Vadim的名字發(fā)行專輯之外，有時也會用本名或是藝名Little Aida發(fā)表作品。DJ Vadim在99年發(fā)行專輯USSR: Life from the Other Side不只卡司堅強 (Scratch Perverts、Blade、Dilated People的Iriscience等)。他還特別組了個團The Russian Percussions巡回演出，陣容也是不能小看，包括Scratch Perverts的Mr. Thing (唱盤)、Killa Kela (beatbox)、Blue Rum 13 (MC)以及John Ellis (keyboard)。這個團總共巡回了200場，足跡遍布歐州各國與美國，真嚇人。他同時也是西班牙一個hip hop團7 Notas 7 Colores的DJ/制作人，參加過一個許多藝術(shù)家組成的團隊The Isolationist。2005-5006年間則忙著與老婆MC Yarah Bravo組的One Self，另一個團員是MC Blue Rum 13。One Self的首張專輯Children of Possibility在2005年9月發(fā)行。

　　這樣的經(jīng)歷夠豐富了吧，他會這么忙碌也不是沒有原因的，他的取樣技巧可是首屈一指的。他的音樂結(jié)合了hip hop與電子，還加入了許多元素，像是reggae/soul/R&B/disco/dub等，還有世界音樂。作品中有純音樂的抽象hip hop，也有饒舌，所以他的作品可想而知的具有多樣的面貌。
