原名Michaila Rocha，于1988年9月10號(hào)出生于Richmond。
在搬到魁北克後母親開始用Coco這個(gè)暱稱叫她，后來就干脆改名為Coco Rocha。
4歲就一直接受舞蹈的訓(xùn)練，主要是愛爾蘭舞，但也學(xué)了3年芭蕾舞2年爵士舞1年Hip Hop，完全沒想到會(huì)成為model，一切的轉(zhuǎn)變發(fā)生在她14歲那年。
Charles Stauart在溫哥華的愛爾蘭舞蹈比賽見到Coco後就極力游說她進(jìn)入這行，當(dāng)時(shí)Coco與朋友并不把Charles說的話當(dāng)真，後來經(jīng)過幾次的游說，在隔年Coco終於答應(yīng)放手一試.
但在進(jìn)軍紐約之前，Coco除了須應(yīng)付學(xué)業(yè)外，還必須學(xué)習(xí)關(guān)於時(shí)尚的事物，因?yàn)樗BAnna Wintour是誰都不曉得。
還好在她身邊的好友幫她上了"時(shí)尚速成課"後，她終於擺脫fashion-illiterate的稱號(hào)。
此時(shí)的Coco已經(jīng)準(zhǔn)備就緒，就等待機(jī)會(huì)的來臨，而這個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)就發(fā)生在她從Superme更換東家到Elite。
當(dāng)時(shí)Coco正在為New York Fashion Week尋求走秀機(jī)會(huì)。攝影大師Steven Meisel相中了她并在NYFW前就定下她為VOGUE Itaila拍攝，而回到伸展臺(tái)她也得到Anna Sui及Marc Jacobs等的青睞，據(jù)傳這也是經(jīng)過Steven Meisel的指點(diǎn)，Coco的模特兒生涯就此開始一帆風(fēng)順。
身為VOGUE點(diǎn)名超模接班人的她對(duì)自己模特兒事業(yè)有如此見解:
" I hope modeling hasnu2019t changed me in the sense that I think more of myself,
or better of myself,but I am more confident with who I am and what I can do with my life."
