1979—1983 年陜西師范大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系本科 。

1983-1985年山東大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系碩士研究生，在我國(guó)著名數(shù)學(xué)家潘承洞教授指導(dǎo)下研究解析數(shù)論。

1985年提前攻讀博士學(xué)位。

1997年進(jìn)入西北大學(xué)理論物理研究所作博士后研究

1988年獲理學(xué)博士學(xué)位后到西北大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系任教。

1991年破格晉升為教授。

1995年9月到1996年9月應(yīng)美國(guó)佐治亞大學(xué)總統(tǒng)基金獲得者 Andrew Granville 教授邀請(qǐng)赴美進(jìn)行為期一年的訪 問(wèn)。

.2005年6月任西北大學(xué)圖書(shū)館館長(zhǎng)。
