Koma在 Jimmy Iovine觀看了他的一支不插電歌曲’’Sheu2018u2019的表演后被發(fā)掘，并與Interscope Records正式簽約。之后他在2012年5月推出了他的首張EP ’’Parachute’’。此后，他參與了LMFAO’’Sorry For Party Rocking’’和Far East Movement的全球巡演，并在之后結束了與Owl City的巡演。據稱Matthew Koma的首張專輯’’Arcadia’’將于2013年年末發(fā)行，而"One Night"已作為這張新專輯的主打歌曲在2013年4月發(fā)行，此歌曲的MV也在歌曲發(fā)行一天之后發(fā)布。
