研究領(lǐng)域：構(gòu)造地質(zhì)學：通過中小尺度的構(gòu)造解析，了解造山帶及其前陸的構(gòu)造幾何學、運動學及其動力學機制。

研究興趣：

1. 超高壓變質(zhì)巖的構(gòu)造折返歷程：

-同造山期伸展穹隆的研究（秦嶺－紅安－大別山－蘇魯造山帶，西南天山）；

-造山帶的垮塌：中國東部白堊紀伸展構(gòu)造的研究 （遼東、遼西、冀北）；

2. 造山帶與盆地動力學：盆山耦合系統(tǒng)的構(gòu)造解析（天山和塔里木盆地，大別山及其前陸）

3. 地球早期的構(gòu)造演化剖析

4. 陸內(nèi)造山帶的構(gòu)造剖析（以華南-華東地區(qū)為例）
