安·瑪格麗特，美國電影女演員、歌唱家、舞蹈家，生于瑞典斯德哥爾摩，原名安·瑪格麗特·奧爾森。她生下第二年，父親去美國，八歲時媽媽帶她赴美，定居于伊利諾斯州威爾米特。她在學生時代曾加入西北大學一個小型爵士樂隊唱歌，后來遂放棄學業(yè)，參加職業(yè)樂隊，在賭城拉斯維加斯，喜劇明星喬治·伯恩看出她是可塑之才，請她參加演出。接著她又在電視上同另一位喜劇家杰克·本尼合作，亞爾西愛唱片公司同她簽約，灌制她的唱片。1961年她第一次上銀幕，在弗蘭克·卡普拉導演的喜劇片《太夫人》中扮演蓓蒂·黛維絲的女兒，一個并不討好的角色�！峨娪跋闰�(qū)論壇報》每年選舉十大“未來明星”，1962年她名列第二。接著她演出的兩部影片都獲得成功，一部是幾度重拍的《賽珍會》(1963)，她扮演一個愛上滸歌曲演唱家的小鎮(zhèn)少女，演來生氣勃勃，大為觀眾歡迎。米高梅影片公司立即同她簽約，1964年她同埃爾維斯·普雷斯利這位著名“貓王”歌手合演的《拉斯維加斯萬歲》(即《儇紅綺翠》)公映后，引起了青年觀眾的狂熱。影片名列該年最賣座影片的第十一名，她不僅為全美影院主公會推選為“本年度明星”，而且名列1964年十大賣座明星第八名。
在以后的幾年里，她演出的影片除出場不多的《賭王衛(wèi)冕戰(zhàn)》(1965)外，像《關(guān)山飛渡》(1956)等都不是很成功，大多是老一套角色。七十年代初，她在電影表演藝術(shù)上有一個很大的突破，在以《畢業(yè)生》成名的導演邁克·尼科爾斯拍攝的《性愛知識》(1971)里，她嫻熟的演技為她贏得1971年奧斯卡最佳女配角金像獎提名，好萊塢外國新聞記者協(xié)會授予她最佳女配角金球獎。同時，她在舞臺演出方面也十分成功。1972年在塔霍湖的一場舞臺演出中，她從二十二英尺高的平臺上摔了下來，身受重傷，一年后才恢復健康。1975年重返銀幕，在《湯米》一片中扮演女主角，獲得音樂喜劇片最佳女主角金球獎，她的表演才華再次得到肯定。與丈夫結(jié)婚二十年，安·瑪格麗特與老公互敬互愛，作為一個事業(yè)心很強的女明星，又是拉斯維加斯夜總會最高薪金的女藝人，在好萊塢是不多見的。
