2007年
Wheel of Life和AVER解散。新樂(lè)隊(duì)「coldrain」起動(dòng)。
Masato，Katsuma為中心，在名古屋的5名成員組成。
2008年
11月5日，發(fā)行POP風(fēng)格的第一張單曲《Fiction》并出道。
2009年
4月5日，第二張單曲《8AM》發(fā)售。為T(mén)V動(dòng)畫(huà)《はじめの一歩 New Challenger》的片尾曲。
8月7日，SUMMER SONIC 2009大阪演出。
10月28日，第一張專輯《Final Destination》發(fā)售。
2010年
4月4日，參加PUNKSPRING 2010。
6月23日，迷你專輯《Nothing Lasts Forever》發(fā)售。該迷你專輯收錄的《We ’ re not alone》為T(mén)V動(dòng)畫(huà)《RAINBOW -二舎六房的七人》的片頭曲�！禗ie tomorrow》在TV游戲《實(shí)況足球2011》中收錄。
7月，在京都大作戰(zhàn)演出。
2011年
1月，配合最新專輯發(fā)售在全國(guó)巡演，『The Enemy Inside 2011』Tour開(kāi)始。
2月16日，第二張專輯《The Enemy Inside》發(fā)售。
12月7日，樂(lè)隊(duì)首次的LIVE錄音DVD『THREE DAYS OF ADRENALINE』發(fā)售。
2012年
4月3日，與SiM、HEY-SMITH全國(guó)巡演『TRIPLE AXE TOUR ’12』，全場(chǎng)滿座。
4月13日，發(fā)表新曲《No Escape》，為生化危機(jī)浣熊市行動(dòng)的CM曲
7月4日，第二張迷你專輯《Through Clarity》發(fā)表。作為制片人David Bendeth在美國(guó)錄音。
8月1日，鼓手Katsuma患先天性病，為了專心治療，發(fā)表活動(dòng)休止。Katsuma脫離的期間，ZAX（Pay money To my Pain），Tatsu（Crossfaith），YOUTH - K !!!（BPM13GROOVE），擔(dān)任支援鼓手。
11月4日，在廣島經(jīng)濟(jì)大學(xué)第45屆「經(jīng)大祭」中，Maximum The Hormone的2男人進(jìn)行現(xiàn)場(chǎng)錄音。另外，該演唱會(huì)上Katsuma康復(fù)回歸樂(lè)隊(duì)。
2013年
3月2日·5日，參加了在臺(tái)灣舉行的活動(dòng)（MEGAPORT FESTIVAL 2013大港口開(kāi)演唱，爆裂核心BURSTING CORE presents coldrain x SiM）。
3月9日～28日，與SiM一起在MONSTER ENERGY OUTBURN TOUR 2013擔(dān)任主角。
4月17日，第三張專輯《The Revelation》發(fā)表，繼《Through Clarity》David Bendeth擔(dān)任制片人。
2014年
2月，初次與Bullet for My Valentine在歐洲巡演。
4月30日，在新木場(chǎng)STUDIO COAST舉行的ONE MAN LIVE ’EVOLVE’ 收錄在2nd DVD & 1st Blu-ray "EVOLVE" 并發(fā)售�。�
6月18日，3rd Mini ALBUM "Until The End"發(fā)售
