個人履歷
1969年畢業(yè)于北京大學物理系，1980年調(diào)入國家海洋局第三海洋研究所開始從事海洋科學研究，1983-1985年在美國羅德到大學海洋研究生院進修物理海洋學，1995年在美國德州農(nóng)工大學海洋系作為時半年的訪問研究。
研究方向
1、南海和臺灣海峽區(qū)域海洋學
2、邊緣海海洋動力學（邊緣海與西邊界流的相互作用、邊緣海低頻中尺度過程）
3、海洋與氣候變化（ENSO水位濤動、海平面變化）
4、海洋遙感（微波遙感在物理海洋學研究中的應用）
5、河口海洋學（港灣動力過程、海岸工程環(huán)境）
