樂隊介紹
Midlake(米德萊克)來自美國德克薩斯州，丹頓的搖滾樂隊。樂隊在歐洲受到一致好評，與Bella Union簽約，參加諸如 Les Inrockuptibles,，Wintercase， End Of The Road Festival和 South by Southwest節(jié)目。樂隊的風(fēng)格屬于獨立搖滾又帶點Lo-fi，輕軟并帶有憂郁色彩，同時卻滿含希望。
歷史發(fā)展
樂隊于1999年由一群爵士樂的學(xué)生在北德克薩斯大學(xué)成立。.最初的陣容包括Tim Smith（主唱，吉他， 鍵盤）， McKenzie Smith（鼓），Paul Alexander（貝斯），Eric Nichelson（吉他）和Evan Jacobs（鍵盤）。他們最初的工作為“康布里德全明” —包括受Herbie Hancock影響很大的funk/jazz。 后來，樂隊更傾向于獨立搖滾的聲音。 Tim Smith放棄吹奏薩克斯，開始寫歌曲，曲風(fēng)受例如音樂家 Jethro Tull, Radiohead，Björk，和 Grandaddy的影響。
