中國計算機學會計算機教育專業(yè)委員會常務理事、無線傳感網(wǎng)絡專業(yè)委員會發(fā)起人之一，九三學社安徽省文教委員會委員，安徽省計算機用戶協(xié)會副理事長，中國科學技術大學學報編委，電子工業(yè)出版社、機械工業(yè)出版社、郵電出版社、清華大學出版社等多家出版社編委和顧問，擔任過多個國際學術會議的程序委員會委員、組織委員會委員、主席等，享受國務院政府特殊津貼。作為負責人或主要成員承擔過國家973、863重點、國家自然科學基金、中科院、國家部委等20余個項目的研究，曾獲國家科技進步二等獎、國家教學成果二等獎、中科院、軍隊等省部級科技進步一、二、三等獎等多項獎勵。先后出版著作6部；在ACM Computing Surveys、J.
