1985年畢業(yè)于 重慶大學應用力學專業(yè)，獲學士學位；

1988年畢業(yè)于重慶大學固體力學專業(yè)，獲碩士學位；

1999年在職畢業(yè)于重慶大學固體力學專業(yè)獲博士學位；

2003年10月至2006年3月在重慶建設工業(yè)（集團）有限責任公司從事企業(yè)博士后科研工作。

2002年8月至2003年7月在日本 東北大學從事合作研究工作。

1988年4月至今在 重慶大學工程力學系任教。

曾任中國力學學會促進工程應用與產業(yè)結合工作委員會委員，主要從事結構動力學、結構強度和疲勞斷裂的研究，重點研究輸電線路結構動力學相關問題。主持國家級、省部級和橫向合作科研項目50余項；發(fā)表學術論文100余篇,SCI、EI收錄60余篇；主編和參編論著和教材8部，獲發(fā)明專利1項，實用新型專利2項；獲軟件著作權1項；獲科研獎勵7項。
