個人經(jīng)歷
1986-1994年任教于東南大學(xué)自動控制系，1999-2004年在澳大利亞紐卡斯大學(xué)、 香港科技大學(xué)、 澳大利亞西悉尼大學(xué)等高校從事研究工作，
研究方向
網(wǎng)絡(luò)反饋系統(tǒng)的分析與設(shè)計；網(wǎng)絡(luò)系統(tǒng)分布式估計與信號處理；反饋系統(tǒng)的性能極限；最優(yōu)和魯棒控制；基于嵌入式系統(tǒng)的網(wǎng)絡(luò)化實時控制與信號處理。
科研成果
在國內(nèi)外重要學(xué)術(shù)刊物與會議上發(fā)表論文近40篇， 其中在《IEEE Trans. Automatic Control》,《Automatica》，《IEEE Trans. Signal Processing》等國際控制界與信號處理界一流學(xué)術(shù)刊物發(fā)表論文10余篇(三篇長文)。蘇為洲教授曾獲1991年度《自動化學(xué)報》優(yōu)秀論文獎（第一作者）；2004年第五屆全球智能控制與自動化大會優(yōu)秀理論論文獎（第一作者）；澳大利亞政府海外研究生研究獎學(xué)金；廣東省科學(xué)技術(shù)一等獎（第一獲獎?wù)撸?009年第七屆亞洲控制會議最佳論文獎提名等。
蘇為洲教授自任華南理工大學(xué)自動化學(xué)院教授、博導(dǎo)之后，在研究生教育領(lǐng)域做出了巨大的貢獻(xiàn)。他獨特的教學(xué)風(fēng)格，給各屆研究生同學(xué)留下了不可磨滅的印象。在自動化人廣泛應(yīng)用的線性系統(tǒng)理論課程中，蘇教授運用國外先進(jìn)的教學(xué)思想，與華工自動化學(xué)院研究生實際情況相結(jié)合，在研究生課程教學(xué)中展現(xiàn)出他獨特的魅力，廣大同學(xué)紛紛反映蘇教授的課能學(xué)到東西，因此，蘇為洲教授多次獲得 華南理工大學(xué)“最喜愛的導(dǎo)師”稱號。在此，歡迎有志于研究線性系統(tǒng)理論的各屆人士探討交流。
