1973. 9-1977. 2上海機(jī)械學(xué)院儀器儀表系畢業(yè);
1978. 9-1981. 9太原理工大學(xué)機(jī)械系精密儀器專業(yè)畢業(yè),獲碩士學(xué)位;
1983. 9-1986. 9 天津大學(xué)精密儀器系測(cè)試計(jì)量技術(shù)及儀器專業(yè)畢業(yè),獲博士學(xué)位,為我國(guó)測(cè)試計(jì)量技術(shù)及儀器專業(yè)培養(yǎng)的第一位博士,師從我國(guó)精密儀器專業(yè)的創(chuàng)始人之一蔡其恕教授;
1988.3-1990.11 美國(guó)國(guó)家標(biāo)準(zhǔn)技術(shù)研究院和北卡州立大學(xué)夏洛特分校從事博士后及訪問學(xué)者研究;
1990.12至今天津大學(xué)精密儀器與光電子工程學(xué)院副教授(1990-1993),教授(1993至今),博士生導(dǎo)師(1994至今),并先后任副院長(zhǎng)(1995-1997),院長(zhǎng)(1997);
1997.11至今 天津大學(xué)副校長(zhǎng)。
1990年回國(guó)后組建了我國(guó)第一個(gè)專門從事納米測(cè)試計(jì)量技術(shù)研究的小組,同時(shí)在國(guó)內(nèi)首先開設(shè)了納米測(cè)試技術(shù)課程,主要事微納測(cè)試與加工技術(shù)、精密測(cè)控技術(shù)等方面的研究工作,主持完成或在研國(guó)家自然基金項(xiàng)目3項(xiàng)、國(guó)家863計(jì)劃項(xiàng)目3項(xiàng),教育部重大項(xiàng)目1項(xiàng),其他省部級(jí)項(xiàng)目10余項(xiàng),獲教育部科技進(jìn)步一等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)、國(guó)家科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)、國(guó)家教委科技進(jìn)步獎(jiǎng)三等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)、天津市科技進(jìn)步三等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)、霍英東青年教師獎(jiǎng)和教育部寶鋼教育基金會(huì)優(yōu)秀教師獎(jiǎng)等。在多次國(guó)際會(huì)議上任學(xué)術(shù)委員會(huì)主席和組委會(huì)主席。在國(guó)內(nèi)外知名期刊上發(fā)表論文260余篇,SCI和EI 收錄150余篇,授權(quán)發(fā)明專利20余項(xiàng)。
