目前擔任全國藝術專業(yè)學位研究生教育指導委員會委員、WDO（世界設計組織）執(zhí)委、中國工業(yè)設計協(xié)會副主席、維也納應用藝術大學國際咨詢委員會主席、意大利高等理工學院（米蘭理工大學和都靈理工大學）科學委員會委員，曾任CUMULUS國際藝術、設計與媒體院校聯(lián)盟副主席、瑞典藝術設計研究平臺國際咨詢委員會委員等國內外學術職務；擔任She Ji: the Journal of Design, Innovation, and Economics(Elsevier)的創(chuàng)刊執(zhí)行主編、Design Issues(MIT Press)編委、Journal of Visual Art Practice(Taylor & Francis)編委。

2002年創(chuàng)立筑道城市設計工作室（Studio TekTao），其設計作品在芬蘭赫爾辛基設計博物館、意大利米蘭三年展博物館、法國圣埃蒂安雙年展等地展出。2014年獲頒芬蘭總統(tǒng)“一等獅子騎士”勛章，2015年獲光華龍騰獎設計貢獻金質獎章。
