工程管理是當(dāng)前國內(nèi)外最活躍的研究領(lǐng)域之一，此學(xué)科教育已經(jīng)涵蓋全壽命周期的管理理念，隨著工程規(guī)模大型化、技術(shù)復(fù)雜化、管理現(xiàn)代化和投資國際化等新形勢，可持續(xù)發(fā)展、精益建造等思想以及信息技術(shù)的飛速發(fā)展也使得工程建設(shè)本身的內(nèi)涵更加豐富且多樣化，這一方面為傳統(tǒng)以建設(shè)階段為導(dǎo)向的工程管理教育研究提出了挑戰(zhàn)，另一方面也為此領(lǐng)域的發(fā)展提供了更廣闊的空間，在未來的發(fā)展過程中，學(xué)生需要從管理、心理、金融、社會學(xué)等不同的視角來看待工程管理領(lǐng)域的問題。而中國建設(shè)業(yè)“走出去”趨勢的升級和“一帶一路”的深度融合也為我們提供了很多有價(jià)值的研究問題，高素質(zhì)的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)、合同管理人才將一直都是工程管理培養(yǎng)的重點(diǎn)方向。

同時(shí)工程管理是一門實(shí)踐性強(qiáng)的交叉學(xué)科，本人多年來一直從事工程領(lǐng)域的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)管理研究工作，尤其專注于“一帶一路”背景下中國承包商走出去在海外項(xiàng)目實(shí)施過程中風(fēng)險(xiǎn)管理、合同管理、保險(xiǎn)管理等。隨著國家“一帶一路”的不斷推進(jìn)，我們所碰到的工程系統(tǒng)性問題更加復(fù)雜、工程遠(yuǎn)超過建設(shè)行為本身影響，更多地體現(xiàn)了國家戰(zhàn)略與新興產(chǎn)業(yè)的發(fā)展動(dòng)向。專注于為工程管理領(lǐng)域培養(yǎng)出更多懂風(fēng)險(xiǎn)、懂法律、懂合同的復(fù)合型人才一直是工程管理專業(yè)之目的，而這樣的人才對我國的工程管理水平的提升、國際承包能力的加強(qiáng)和投融資的開拓等都有相當(dāng)積極的現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。
