1997年獲南京醫(yī)科大學(xué)碩士學(xué)位,并于1997年赴英國(guó)伯明翰大學(xué)攻讀博士學(xué)位;
2000年于英國(guó)伯明翰大學(xué)獲博士學(xué)位(分子生理學(xué)),其博士論文當(dāng)年獲全英最佳論文獎(jiǎng),并收入大英圖書館;
2000-2002年于英國(guó)倫敦大學(xué)帝國(guó)理工學(xué)院醫(yī)學(xué)院博士后;
2002-2004年,于英國(guó)劍橋大學(xué)英國(guó)皇家科學(xué)院院士Prof Roger Hardie實(shí)驗(yàn)室任研究員;
2004年10月,受聘于英國(guó)伯明翰大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院,任助教授,自2006年任副教授 (終身職位)。
2010年8月到北京大學(xué)分子醫(yī)學(xué)所,任教授并全職擔(dān)任北京大學(xué)分子醫(yī)學(xué)所分子藥理實(shí)驗(yàn)室主任。?
科學(xué)研究
顧雨春教授自1997年9月起,一直從事離子通道及其相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的研究工作。在十幾年的科研工作中,運(yùn)用膜電鉗、鈣螢光技術(shù)及多種分子生物學(xué)研究方法,研究了多種類型的離子通道,包括鈣通道、鉀通道、鈉通道等等。
當(dāng)前的工作主要集中于離子通道在血管和腎小管上的功能及調(diào)控機(jī)制。
他的研究工作證明了血紅素和一氧化碳可以雙向調(diào)節(jié)ENaC通道;揭示了在缺氧狀態(tài)下,機(jī)體通過HO酶保護(hù)性地調(diào)控離子通道的開閉,進(jìn)而調(diào)節(jié)細(xì)胞炎癥反應(yīng)及水腫狀態(tài)。于2002年開創(chuàng)了新技術(shù)—u2018smart patching’,此技術(shù)可以有效地獲取小細(xì)胞結(jié)構(gòu)及扁平細(xì)胞結(jié)構(gòu)的離子通道膜電鉗記錄。該技術(shù)曾得到u2018Neuron’科技綜述欄目的高度評(píng)價(jià),并評(píng)價(jià)為將來的技術(shù)革新。
教學(xué)情況
顧雨春教授具有豐富的教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn),他在伯明翰大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院任教期間,曾執(zhí)教多門基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)課程(醫(yī)學(xué)院本科學(xué)生),并成功指導(dǎo)了多名博士生(6人),博士后(7人)和國(guó)際訪問學(xué)者(15人)。

研究成果
研究背景
心血管疾病已成為我國(guó)成年人的頭號(hào)殺手,每10人中有4人死于心血管疾病,僅高血壓和心腦血管病兩項(xiàng),全國(guó)每年需耗醫(yī)藥費(fèi)用近3000億元。分子藥理研究室以離子通道為主要研究對(duì)象,力求揭示離子通道在心血管系統(tǒng)生理病理過程中的功能和作用,以及它們的調(diào)節(jié)機(jī)制。研究室主要的研究手段包括:膜電鉗、細(xì)胞內(nèi)鈣成像測(cè)定技術(shù)、血管張力檢測(cè)、離子掃描顯微鏡、基因表達(dá)及其敲除等分子生物學(xué)技術(shù)。實(shí)驗(yàn)的研究對(duì)象主要為細(xì)胞系、原代及新鮮分離的細(xì)胞、離體及在體的組織和器官。分子藥理研究室將及時(shí)轉(zhuǎn)化研究成果,致力于篩選以離子通道為靶向,作用更專一,副作用更小的治療心血管的藥物。
成果
一篇題為《一氧化碳可抑制心肌細(xì)胞內(nèi)向整流鉀通道》的文章于2014年8月14日在《自然通訊》(Nature Communications)雜志上發(fā)表。該文闡述了研究發(fā)現(xiàn)一氧化碳預(yù)防再灌注心律失常的一個(gè)重要機(jī)制。這一研究結(jié)果為臨床治療心血管病人猝死提供了新的治療思路和途徑。
文章的作者就是北京大學(xué)分子醫(yī)學(xué)所分子藥理研究室主任、博士導(dǎo)師顧雨春教授。心血管病防治是其主要研究方向之一。?
顧雨春介紹說,他們研究小組首次發(fā)現(xiàn)一氧化碳能作用于心肌細(xì)胞內(nèi)向整流鉀通道,干擾通道與磷脂酰肌醇4,5-雙磷酸的結(jié)合,抑制鉀通道電流,進(jìn)而產(chǎn)生延長(zhǎng)動(dòng)作電位時(shí)程的作用。這一機(jī)制提出了可以通過一氧化碳的藥物途徑防治再灌注及心肌缺血導(dǎo)致的心律失常。?
外界評(píng)論
英國(guó)阿斯頓大學(xué)副校長(zhǎng)、國(guó)際著名心血管生物學(xué)教授阿西夫·艾哈邁德(Asif Ahmed)在接受英國(guó)心臟病研究基金采訪時(shí)稱這一研究成果具有劃時(shí)代的意義,為心血管病治療提供了新的方向。他希望阿斯頓大學(xué)與北京大學(xué)加強(qiáng)此領(lǐng)域的合作,使患者直接受益。
比利時(shí)馬拉諾(Marano)教授也指出,該研究發(fā)現(xiàn)為全面探索一氧化碳的生理學(xué)功能及機(jī)制做出了重要貢獻(xiàn),對(duì)一氧化碳的藥物開發(fā)及臨床應(yīng)用提供了新思路。
