1991-1998年,于中科院地質(zhì)所工作,任實(shí)習(xí)研究員和助理研究員,主要從事東南極中山站所在的拉斯曼丘陵(Larsemann Hills)地區(qū)麻粒巖相變質(zhì)巖的變質(zhì)演化歷史研究,曾于1991和1997年兩次參加中國(guó)南極科學(xué)考察隊(duì)(中山站)。1999-2004年期間,于澳大利亞墨爾本大學(xué)地球科學(xué)學(xué)院變質(zhì)地質(zhì)學(xué)專業(yè)攻讀博士學(xué)位,從事東南極茹爾群島(Rauer Group)含假藍(lán)寶石超高溫(UHT)變質(zhì)巖及南澳高溫變質(zhì)巖變質(zhì)演化歷史的研究,獲博士學(xué)位,曾于1999年參加澳大利亞南極科學(xué)考察隊(duì)(戴維斯站)。2005-2007年期間,于臺(tái)灣中央研究院地球科學(xué)研究所進(jìn)行博士后研究工作,主要從事蘇魯-大別超高壓(UHP)變質(zhì)榴輝巖的大陸深俯沖過(guò)程與變質(zhì)歷史研究。2007年12月經(jīng)“引進(jìn)海外杰出人才計(jì)劃”答辯,以學(xué)術(shù)帶頭人身份到廣州地化所工作。

變質(zhì)巖石學(xué)/變質(zhì)地質(zhì)學(xué),主要研究超高溫(UHT)變質(zhì)巖的變質(zhì)演化歷史及其大地構(gòu)造背景以及超高壓(UHP)變質(zhì)榴輝巖的大陸深俯沖與剝蝕過(guò)程。
