樂隊介紹
The Supremes樂隊是60年代在美國流行樂壇盛及一時的女子三重唱組合，是美國最著名最有影響力的樂隊之一，在美國音樂發(fā)展歷程上有著不可忽視的重要地位。在當(dāng)時的白人和黑人中間有極高的人氣，是少有的可以跨界的人氣組合。她們也成為了全球女子樂團(tuán)的典范，也是最為暢銷的單曲制造機，更是光榮進(jìn)入名人搖滾殿堂、并成為黑人音樂大本營Motown唱片旗下最引以為傲的女子兵團(tuán)！
集歌唱外貌于一身的The Supremes，50年代中期成軍之初，原名為Primettes，成員包含Diana Ross、Mary Wilson、Florence Ballard及Barbara Martin，60年在Lupine唱片發(fā)行一張單曲后，被Motown創(chuàng)始人Berry Gordy招攬旗下。剛開始，她們只是合音天使，后來更換團(tuán)名成The Supremes，才獨立出來錄制專輯，并套換時尚亮眼裝扮，將熱情、歡愉的獨特魅力展現(xiàn)在活潑流暢的曲目中，這時Barbara正式離團(tuán)，剩下The Supremes三人組合的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)機制，Diana Ross也成為團(tuán)中主唱及靈魂核心。
從業(yè)經(jīng)歷
1959年，15歲的Diana Ross與好友Florence Ballard、Mary Wilson以及Betty McGlown組成一個組合：The Primes。
1960年，Betty McGlown離隊，Barbara Martin加入The Primes
1961年，The Primes簽約摩城唱片，正式改名The Supremes。
1962年，The Supremes發(fā)行首張專輯《Meet The Supremes》，英國專輯榜最高排名第八。同年Barbara Martin離隊。
1964年，單曲《Where Did Our Love Go？》成為The Supremes的第一首全美冠軍單曲，同名專輯全美專輯榜最高第2名。專輯中的歌曲《Where Did Our Love Go》、《Baby Love》與 《Come See About Me》分別成為全美冠軍單曲。
1965年，專輯《More Hits by The Supremes》中的兩首歌曲《Stop! In the Name of Love》與《Back in My Arms Again》再度成為全美冠軍單曲。
1965年，專輯《I Hear a Symphony》中的同名單曲《I Hear a Symphony》成為The Supremes的第6首全美冠軍單曲。
1966年，專輯《The Supremes A’ Go-Go》成為The Supremes的第一張全美冠軍專輯，專輯中的單曲《You Can’t Hurry Love》成為Supremes的第7首全美冠軍單曲。
1966年，專輯《The Supremes Sing Hollandu2013Dozieru2013Holland》中的歌曲《You Keep Me Hangin’ On》成為Supremes的第8首全美冠軍單曲。
1967年，專輯《The Supremes Sing Hollandu2013Dozieru2013Holland》中的歌曲《Love Is Here and Now You’re Gone》成為Supremes的第9首全美冠軍單曲。
1967年，精選集《Greatest Hits》登上了英美兩國冠軍寶座，專輯中的歌曲《The Happening》成為Supremes的第10首全美冠軍單曲。
1967年Motown總裁Berry Gordy將The Supremes更名為Diana Ross & the Supremes，并招募新成員Cindy Birdsong取代了離隊的Florence Ballard的位置。
1968年，專輯《Love Child》中的同名單曲再度登頂美國公告牌單曲榜，成為The Supremes的第11首全美冠軍單曲。
1970年，The Supremes的最后一首冠軍歌曲《Someday We’ll Be Together》宣告了Diana Ross離隊，新成員Jean Terrell加入樂隊，隨后樂隊名才改回The Supremes。
1972年，Lynda Laurence加入樂隊。
1973年，成員Jean Terrell與Lynda Laurence離隊，同時Scherrie Payne加入樂隊。
1976年，成員Cindy Birdsong離隊。
1977年6月12日，The Supremes在倫敦的德魯里皇家劇院舉行了名為“The Supremes’ farewell concert”的告別演出，隨后樂隊正式解散。
1983年，Diana Ross,Mary Wilson與Cindy Birdsong在慶祝摩城(Motown)唱片公司成立25周年的電視特別節(jié)目《Motown25:Yesterday,Today,Forever》中演唱《Someday We’ll Be Together》。
1988年，The Supremes入選搖滾名人堂。
1994年，在好萊塢星光大道獲得一顆星星。
1999年，The Supremes的兩首冠軍單曲Where Did Our Love Go與You Keep Me Hangin’ On入選格萊美名人堂。
2000年，Diana Ross與Lynda Laurence和Scherrie Payne舉行了Diana Ross & the Supremes:Return to Love Tour巡回演唱會。
2001年，冠軍單曲Stop! In the Name of Love入選格萊美名人堂。
