1990年四川大學化學系本科畢業(yè)，1996年中國科學院長春應用化學研究所研究生畢業(yè)，獲得理學博士學位，1997-1999年香港大學化學系博士后。1999.8蘇州大學化學化工學院任副教授，2004年破格晉升教授。任材料與化學化工學部教授，博士生導師，有機化學學科帶頭人，有機化學研究所所長，江蘇省有機化學國家級重點學科建設負責人，江蘇省有機合成重點實驗室主任，江蘇省化學化工學會理事，江蘇省化學化工學會有機化學專業(yè)委員會委員。主持完成2項國家自然科學基金面上項目和1項重點項目子項目，1項江蘇省自然科學基金青年創(chuàng)新人才項目及1項江蘇省屬高校自然科學重大基礎研究計劃項目。主持2項國家自然科學基金面上項目和1項國家自然科學基金重點項目子項目的研究工作。發(fā)表SCI源期刊論文120多篇，被SCI源期刊論文他引600多次。獲中國發(fā)明專利授權4項，2009年獲得江蘇省科技進步二等獎(排名第二)，2010年中國石油和化學工業(yè)科學技術獎一等獎(排名第二)。“蘇州大學首批優(yōu)秀中青年學術骨干”，“蘇州市新世紀高級青年專業(yè)技術人才”培養(yǎng)對象。
