The energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavor will light our country and all who serve it – and the glow from that fire can truly light the world. And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.
金句發(fā)音講解
Pay和any連接的時(shí)候在[ei]和[e]之間會(huì)增加一個(gè)[j]的音，讀的時(shí)候還要注意any是小嘴[e]而不是梅花音[?]；
Bear和any也是增音連讀，英音[be?]詞尾的[?]和[e]之間在連讀時(shí)會(huì)增加一個(gè)[r]的音，而美音[b?r]就沒(méi)有這個(gè)問(wèn)題，直接做輔元連讀就可以了；
Burden的英音發(fā)音中[’b??d(?)n]的[?]可省略，而美音重[’b?dn]則沒(méi)有這個(gè)元音；
meet any和support and輔元連讀，可以濁化后連讀，也可直接清輔音連讀，根據(jù)個(gè)人習(xí)慣，在口腔放松的情況下[t]可以濁化發(fā)音；
hardship里面的[d]可以失爆，至少讀的時(shí)候不要讀的太重；
oppose any輔元連讀；
survival[s?’va?vl]里面的雙元音[ai]是需要盡量夸張發(fā)音的，而詞尾的舌側(cè)音不要讀成兒化音；
and the的連接過(guò)度；
success of的輔元連讀。
語(yǔ)法和習(xí)語(yǔ)
We observe today not a victory of party but a celebration of freedom這里的observe A (as) B就是把A看做B的意思。原文中嵌套加了not but的句型；
whether it wishes us well or ill我們把這里翻譯為不管他們安得好心還是壞心，直接的意思就是不管他們盼著我們好還是盼著我們病；
pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe都是非常好的詞語(yǔ)搭配，平時(shí)我們用的機(jī)會(huì)很多，但總想不起來(lái)的那種；
light our country and all who serve it這個(gè)部分中l(wèi)ight是動(dòng)詞，后面的our country和all都是light作用的對(duì)象，辨析句子的時(shí)候需要注意解剖句子結(jié)構(gòu)；
the glow from that fire can truly light the world熊熊火焰的光芒將照耀全世界，非常具有畫(huà)面感的句子；
ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country這句話就更不用說(shuō)了，在大量的影視作品動(dòng)畫(huà)片中被引用或改造后引用。
