彭新東 - 個人簡介

彭新東，1967年3月生，理學博士，研究員，主要從事中尺度大氣動力學與數(shù)值模擬、計算地球流體力學方面的研究。1987年畢業(yè)于蘭州大學氣象專業(yè)，1994年作為中日聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)博士生赴日本東京大學學習，并與1997年獲得博士學位。先后任蘭州大學助教、講師，中科院寒區(qū)旱區(qū)環(huán)境與工程研究所副研究員和研究員、日本海洋研究開發(fā)研究機構(gòu)研究員，現(xiàn)在中國氣象科學研究院災害天氣國家重點實驗室從事災害天氣研究和模式開發(fā)工作。
