吳立范教授1994年在Illinois大學(xué)( Urbana-Champaign)獲金融學(xué)博士。

曾在Illinois大學(xué)、香港城市大學(xué)任教，現(xiàn)為加州州立大學(xué)金融系教授，嶺南講座基金教授。 
吳立范教授在Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money,Journal of Business Finance and Accounting等雜志發(fā)表論文多篇。

2003年曾受上海證券交易所委托，從事有關(guān)證券市場的課題研究。

1986.9~1988.6就讀于南開大學(xué)，獲得經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)博士學(xué)位（國際金融）
1988.8~1994.7留學(xué)美國，就讀于伊利諾伊大學(xué)香檳分校（University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign），并獲得財務(wù)學(xué)博士學(xué)位
