演藝經(jīng)歷
作為美國洛杉磯著名說唱組合N.W.A的核心成員之一，Ice Cube也是該組合中最早宣布單飛而謀求個人發(fā)展的成員。在離開N.W.A組合之后，Ice Cube逐漸成長為美國Hip-Hop音樂界最優(yōu)秀同時也是最具爭議的歌手之一。Ice Cube在他個人發(fā)展之后的專輯中表現(xiàn)出了更為尖銳的政治和社會觀點(diǎn)，這也使得他頗為引人注目的前兩張個人專輯《AmeriKKKa??s Most Wanted》和《Death Certificate》毀譽(yù)參半。后來，Ice Cube開始和Cypress Hill等后輩說唱樂團(tuán)合作，其本人的影響力雖略有下降，但I(xiàn)ce Cube在整個美國說唱界的地位卻從未改變。在上世紀(jì)90年代，Ice Cube一直都是最耀眼的說唱歌手之一。與眾多家境貧寒，從小便浪跡街頭的說唱歌手相比，Ice Cube的家境算是比較好的了。原名O??Shea Jackson的Ice Cube從小生活在洛杉磯的中南部，父母都在加州大學(xué)洛杉磯分校（UCLA）工作，而少年時期的Ice Cube也一直都是個好孩子。到了上中學(xué)的時候，Ice Cube才開始創(chuàng)作Rap，而他在這個時期創(chuàng)作的歌曲包括了與搭檔 Sir Jinx合作寫出的《Boyz-n-the Hood》。隨著創(chuàng)作水平的不斷提高，由Ice Cube領(lǐng)銜的二人說唱組合“CIA”開始在Dr.Dre舉辦的排隊(duì)上演出。很快，Ice Cube就通過Dr.Dre結(jié)識了當(dāng)時還在HBO組合的Eazy-E。隨后，Eazy-E決定離開HBO。事實(shí)上，在這個時候，Eazy-E，Dr.Dre和Ice Cube三人已經(jīng)構(gòu)成了N.W.A組合的雛形。1987年，Ice Cube前往菲尼克斯學(xué)習(xí)建筑。1988年，在拿到了一年制的學(xué)位之后，Ice Cube重新回到了洛杉磯。而Ice Cube的這次回歸正是時候，因?yàn)樗泌s上了N.W.A組合首張專輯《Straight Outta Compton》的錄制。最終，《Straight Outta Compton》在1988年末發(fā)行并成為1989年美國地下說唱圈中的熱門專輯。專輯歌詞中的極端內(nèi)容得到了各界的關(guān)注，其中最引人注目的是美國聯(lián)邦調(diào)查局（FBI）對本張專輯的關(guān)注。由于Ice Cube和N.W.A的經(jīng)紀(jì)人有著很嚴(yán)重的分歧，因此他在1989年末的時候選擇了離隊(duì)。
