演藝經(jīng)歷
邁克表演是在步狼劇院，當(dāng)時(shí)是在著名演員約翰馬爾克維奇的下面工作。他第一次在大銀幕中出現(xiàn)是在1982年的電影《希望破滅》、1984年的影片《與月亮賽跑》和《天賦》中出演一些小角色。1989年他在影片《再殺我一次》中以鋒利的表演出色詮釋了危險(xiǎn)的殺手“文森米勒”，而受到多方的認(rèn)可。1991年邁克爾·馬德森又在《末路狂花》中出演了Louise的丈夫Jimmy一角，也受到不錯(cuò)的評(píng)價(jià)。他真正讓人們記憶深刻的角色，應(yīng)該算是昆汀·塔倫蒂諾的作品《落水狗》中那個(gè)說(shuō)話“慢條斯理”，虐待條子的金先生（Mr.Blonde）。1993年他在影片《人魚的童話》中出演了養(yǎng)父一角，他的表演讓人感到驚喜。1994年他又出演了史蒂夫麥昆的影片《逃亡之路》和影片《人魚的童話》續(xù)集。1997年他出演了影片《忠奸人》。2003年他受導(dǎo)演昆汀·塔倫蒂諾之邀，出演了大投資動(dòng)作片《殺死比爾Ⅰ》和《殺死比爾2》，在里面出演了一位冷酷邪惡的布德。
他的妹妹維吉妮婭·馬德森也是演員，擁有一半丹麥血統(tǒng)。維吉妮婭是1980年代美國(guó)最受歡迎的女星之一，曾于1986年被票選為好萊塢最美麗女演員之一。
2018年1月26日，參與配音的動(dòng)畫電影《北極正義：雷霆隊(duì)》上映。同年，參演電影《好萊塢往事》。
2019年7月26日，參演的電影《好萊塢往事》在北美上映。
