生平簡介
喬治-肯尼迪在紐約出生，參與過第二次世界大戰(zhàn)，在軍中服役長達16年的時間，1950年代才踏入影壇，大多扮演警察、士兵或是藍領(lǐng)階級的權(quán)威角色，在《鐵窗喋血》中飾演Dragline，在片中演出監(jiān)獄的囚犯老大，一開始欺負新來的男主角保羅-紐曼（Paul Newman），之后被對方不屈不撓的精神所感動，甚至一起逃獄，精湛演技更讓他奪下當年的小金人。
