她從來都沒有結(jié)過婚，更不用說有孩子了，她曾經(jīng)在一個(gè)采訪會上提到”我想我父母的離婚對我產(chǎn)生了很大的影響，并且我是在70年代成長的，婚姻在那時(shí)候?qū)ξ襾碚f并不重要，但是愛是非常重要的。”
從90年代中期開始，Delany和她的朋友Haron Monsky已經(jīng)在“Scleroderma Research Foundation”這家公司中工作了。她和導(dǎo)演Bob Saget一起工作，Dana在電視劇For Hope (1996)中出演角色，那個(gè)角色的原型就是導(dǎo)演Bob Saget死于疾病的姐姐。

家族生意
達(dá)納有一個(gè)家族生意，名叫Coyne & Delany，始創(chuàng)于1879年，主要是生產(chǎn)鉛制的沐浴器，浴缸，后來他們轉(zhuǎn)移方向，發(fā)展生產(chǎn)自動(dòng)沖洗的馬桶和尿壺。標(biāo)有“Delany Flush Valves”生產(chǎn)標(biāo)志的產(chǎn)品能經(jīng)常在洗手間看到。Dana曾經(jīng)在工廠工作了一個(gè)夏天，但是著并不代表她要繼承家族事業(yè)。
