2003年9月進入西南大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)與統(tǒng)計學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)教育方向攻讀碩士學(xué)位，2006年7月獲理學(xué)碩士學(xué)位；2006年9月入香港大學(xué)教育學(xué)院攻讀數(shù)學(xué)教育博士學(xué)位，2010年10月畢業(yè)并獲哲學(xué)博士。
