Joel Zimmerman于1981年出生于加拿大的多倫多市，現(xiàn)今他可說是加拿大頂尖DJ - Deadmau5。在國外的諸多視頻網(wǎng)站上，他的很多曲目更是被播放了超過幾千萬次。而他的假名"Deadmau5"的由來，則是在他出了一張名為《Faxing Berlin》的作品后 Joel Zimmerman為自己取的。
