    劉叢強(qiáng),男,生于1955年9月,研究員,中國科學(xué)院院士,國家自然科學(xué)基金委員會(huì)副主任。1982年2月畢業(yè)于南京大學(xué)地球科學(xué)系,獲理學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位。1984年12月于中國科學(xué)院地球化學(xué)研究所獲理學(xué)碩士學(xué)位,后留所工作。

    現(xiàn)任國家自然科學(xué)基金委員會(huì)副主任、黨組成員,環(huán)境地球化學(xué)國家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室學(xué)術(shù)委員會(huì)主任。

    1994年入選中國科學(xué)院首批“百人計(jì)劃”;1996年獲國家杰出青年科學(xué)家基金;1998年任國家攀登項(xiàng)目首席科學(xué)家;2006年任973計(jì)劃項(xiàng)目“西南喀斯特山地石漠化與適應(yīng)性生態(tài)系統(tǒng)調(diào)控”首席科學(xué)家。早期主要從事中國東部新生代火山巖及其地幔巖包體的微量元素和同位素地球化學(xué)研究,其成果獲2002年貴州省科學(xué)技術(shù)進(jìn)步一等獎(jiǎng)(負(fù)責(zé)); 1996至今主要從事地表地球化學(xué)過程及其環(huán)境效應(yīng)方面的研究,研究重點(diǎn)為喀斯特環(huán)境地球化學(xué)過程和環(huán)境變化。有關(guān)喀斯特(烏江)流域物質(zhì)的水文地球化學(xué)的研究成果于2004獲貴州省科技進(jìn)步一等獎(jiǎng)(負(fù)責(zé))。至今共發(fā)表中文期刊收錄論文200余篇,英文SCI收錄論文110余篇;合著專著5部;培養(yǎng)博士生(畢業(yè))30余名。

    學(xué)術(shù)研究

    主要從事新生代火山巖及地幔包體地球化學(xué)、地質(zhì)流體作用地球化學(xué)和地表過程地球化學(xué)等領(lǐng)域的研究工作。利用微量元素和同位素地球化學(xué)的過程和物質(zhì)來源示蹤理論,對(duì)中國新生代大陸地幔巖漿作用及地球化學(xué)特征、地質(zhì)流體作用、地表過程及其環(huán)境效應(yīng)等方面開展了研究工作。作為首席科學(xué)家組織實(shí)施了我國第一個(gè)地質(zhì)流體作用地球化學(xué)研究項(xiàng)目;在喀斯特環(huán)境地表地球化學(xué)過程及其環(huán)境效應(yīng)方面獲得有關(guān)物質(zhì)循環(huán)與環(huán)境效應(yīng)的系統(tǒng)認(rèn)識(shí),國內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)界給予了很高的評(píng)價(jià)。

    研究方向

    主要從事地表(無機(jī)、有機(jī)和生物)地球化學(xué)過程、物質(zhì)循環(huán)及其生態(tài)環(huán)境效應(yīng)的研究:環(huán)境和生態(tài)系統(tǒng)的變化與(自然或人類活動(dòng)干預(yù)下)地表各圈層內(nèi)及相互之間物質(zhì)的生物地球化學(xué)循環(huán)密切相關(guān)。針對(duì)這一核心科學(xué)問題,在結(jié)合其它學(xué)科理論和研究方法的基礎(chǔ)上,充分利用元素和多種同位素地球化學(xué)示蹤和化學(xué)計(jì)量學(xué)理論和方法,主要對(duì)我國西南喀斯特生態(tài)系統(tǒng)中巖石-土壤-植物-水-大氣界面生物地球化學(xué)過程和流域物質(zhì)循環(huán)開展研究。
