1997年畢業(yè)于西北師范大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系，畢業(yè)后在甘肅農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)理學(xué)院任教至今。2001年考入蘭州大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系讀碩士學(xué)位（生物數(shù)學(xué)和系統(tǒng)優(yōu)化），于2003年提前免試推薦到蘭州大學(xué)生干旱農(nóng)業(yè)生態(tài)國家重點實驗室攻讀博士學(xué)位（數(shù)學(xué)生態(tài)學(xué)），2006年博士畢業(yè)。研究興趣，數(shù)學(xué)和理論生物學(xué), 特別是空間生態(tài)學(xué)、進(jìn)化博弈理論、空間結(jié)構(gòu)種群的進(jìn)化生態(tài)學(xué)理論、生物多樣性的模式和機理。
