科研方向
主要研究方向為：人工智能與多媒體信息檢索、網絡多媒體及CSCW技術、軟件體系結構與中間件技術等。
科研成果
目前主要從事多媒體信息檢索的理論與方法、基于漢語篇章理論的漢語理解、基于內容的視頻圖像信息檢索、Web信息檢索與Web挖掘、基于多Agent理論的信息協(xié)同檢索技術、基于P2P的分布式信息檢索技術、人口數(shù)據(jù)挖掘與知識發(fā)現(xiàn)以及人口決策支持等方面的研究。作為SPCA06國際學術會議的執(zhí)行主席和程序委員，第八屆、第九屆、第十屆CSCWD國際學術會議的程序委員，第八屆CSCWD國際學術會議、第六屆詞匯語義學國際學術會議的組委會主席多次參與國際學術交流。先后主持或參加過國家863項目、國家自然科學基金項目、省科技重點項目、省基金項目的研究，完成過近二十項科研項目，其中有十項通過省部級鑒定，獲福建省科學技術三等獎一項、廈門大學2005年度“中國建設銀行獎”，指導學生參與SCILIB國際軟件設計競賽獲得一等獎。發(fā)表科研論文50多篇，其中有6篇SCI收錄，38篇EI收錄，23篇ISTP收錄。
