早年經(jīng)歷
1999年5月27日，Billie Marten出生于英國(guó)北約克郡城市里彭。七八歲左右開(kāi)始學(xué)習(xí)彈吉他和唱歌，九歲開(kāi)始創(chuàng)作自己的音樂(lè)。十一二歲時(shí)，Billie的媽媽在YouTube上傳了Billie唱歌的視頻想給在法國(guó)的外婆看，意外的獲得了數(shù)十萬(wàn)次的觀看量。Billie曾經(jīng)就讀于Ripon Grammar School。
演藝經(jīng)歷
2014年5月，就在Billie15歲生日前不久，她通過(guò)Burberry’s curation program推出了單曲“Ribbon”�！癛ibbon”是她早前一年與Fiona Bevan共同創(chuàng)作的。Billie解釋道，“Ribbon” 這首歌其中之一的主題是想要表達(dá)" The elusiveness of the city, and how quickly you can lose something amongst the people and tube stations."2014年6月，Billie Marten發(fā)行了她的首張EPRibbon。Billie曾描述她的音樂(lè)風(fēng)格為"A mix between acoustic and quite folky and a little indie."
Billie Marten簽約獨(dú)立廠牌國(guó)際象棋俱樂(lè)部Chess Club Records（索尼音樂(lè)旗下）。2015年4月，Billie發(fā)行單曲“Heavy Weather”，并在Huw Stephens’BBC Radio 1 show進(jìn)行了首次公演。2015年11月發(fā)行第二張EPAs Long As。
2015年11月，Billie Marten被提名為BBC年度之聲。
個(gè)人生活
Billie Marten非常喜歡羊駝，她曾經(jīng)表示想要買(mǎi)一只羊駝。Billie說(shuō)到" I have this weird obsession with alpacas, I canu2019t explain it. I think theyu2019re beautiful and I love them".
