現(xiàn)為東南大學(xué)藝術(shù)學(xué)院教授、博士、碩士生導(dǎo)師，2011中國(guó)美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)“中國(guó)中青年海外研修工程”十名派出專家之一。

Zhang Qianyuan was born in Dangshan County, Anhui province, China. He graduated from the Art Department of Anhui Normal University, the Esperanto Department of Karlskoga Peopleu2019s Institute, Sweden. He received his postgraduate training at the graduate school of the China National Academy of Arts. Hereceived his doctorate from the Fine Arts at College of Nanjing Arts Institute. He is now a professor, Postgraduate Tutor in the school of Arts of Southeast University. He is a member of the China Artists Association, and one of the ten best artists of the Middle-aged and Young Chinese Artists Talent Project for Overseas Research, selected by the China Artists Association within the whole country. He has been a Visiting professor at the College of Arts & Humanities of University of Hawaii, U.S.A. during 2009 and 2010.

1992年曾應(yīng)邀為天安門城樓繪制《大禹治水圖》、為國(guó)務(wù)院西山處創(chuàng)作《后羿射日》等作品。1997年，其國(guó)畫作品《大楚興·陳勝王》獲文化部、中國(guó)藝術(shù)研究院、中國(guó)美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)、中國(guó)書法家協(xié)會(huì)主辦的“世界華人書畫展”銅獎(jiǎng)。2004年《天籟神曲》獲文化部?jī)S聯(lián)主辦的“全國(guó)書畫大展”銀獎(jiǎng)，以及參加由中國(guó)美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)主辦的“迎接新世紀(jì)中國(guó)工筆畫展”、“紀(jì)念《毛澤東同志在延安文藝座談會(huì)上的講話》發(fā)表60周年全國(guó)美展”、“2007·中國(guó)百家金陵畫展高層論壇”、“數(shù)風(fēng)流人物·2008中國(guó)百家金陵畫展高層論壇”等國(guó)家級(jí)的重要展覽活動(dòng)。1994年-1996年在芬蘭、瑞典、土耳其、俄羅斯20多次舉辦個(gè)人畫展，旅居土耳其及瑞典3年。

In 1992, he, on invitation, painted Emperor Dayu controlling the floods for Tian An Men City Gate Tower and Hou Yi Shooting the Sun for the State Council, China’s Cabinet. The former has been kept as a collection in Tian An Men City Gate Tower, and the latter in the Administrative Bureau of Official Affairs for the State Council.In 1997, his traditional Chinese painting The First Chinese Peasant Uprising won the Copper Medal of the International Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Artwork Exhibition, which was co-hosted by Ministry of Culture, China National Academy of the Arts, Chinese Artists Association and Chinese Calligraphers Association. In 2004, his traditional Chinese painting The Best Songs won the Silver Medal of the National Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition hosted by the Federations of Returned Overseas Chinese of the Ministry of Culture. In addition, he attended many important national exhibitions hosted by the Chinese Artists Association. During the two years of 1994 and 1996, he held more than 20 solo art exhibitions in Finland, Sweden, Turkey, and Russia. He lived in Turkey and Sweden for 3 years.

其美學(xué)論文及繪畫作品發(fā)表于《文藝研究》、《美術(shù)觀察》、《美術(shù)》、《裝飾》等國(guó)家級(jí)重點(diǎn)學(xué)術(shù)期刊上30余種。2003年中國(guó)文聯(lián)出版社出版其美學(xué)專著《繪事后素——中國(guó)古代繪畫的五色美學(xué)觀念》，2006年中國(guó)書店出版社出版其美學(xué)專著《象外之意——周易意象學(xué)與中國(guó)書畫美學(xué)》，該研究2007年獲得江蘇省第十屆哲學(xué)社會(huì)科學(xué)優(yōu)秀成果三等獎(jiǎng)。

More than thirty of his articles on aesthetics and his paintings were published in such key national academic journals as Culture Study, Observation of Art, Art, and Decoration. His monograph of Aesthetics on Five Elemental Colors of Ancient Chinese Painting was published by CFLACPC (China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Publishing Corporation) in 2003. His second monograph, the theory of Images of Zhou Yi and Aesthetics of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, was published by China Bookstore Press in 2006. His second monograph won the third prize of the Tenth Excellent Achievements in Philosophy and Social Science of Jiangsu province in 2007.

他對(duì)中國(guó)古典哲學(xué)、美學(xué)有全面的研究，特別是對(duì)于先秦時(shí)期周易哲學(xué)、道家、儒家哲學(xué)的研究。他在周易哲學(xué)領(lǐng)域的研究，不僅精于《易傳》和《易經(jīng)》的哲學(xué)研究，同時(shí)對(duì)象數(shù)易學(xué)、風(fēng)水學(xué)也有深入的探索研究。

He has a comprehensive study on the Chinese classical philosophy and aesthetics, particularly onthe pre-Qin period of philosophy: such as, philosophy of the Book of Changes(Zhou Yi, The I Ching), philosophy of Daoism, and philosophy of Confucianism. In his study on philosophy of Zhou Yi, not only refine at Yizhuan(The Commentary on The Text of Zhou Yi)and Yijing(The Text), but it also in-depth research at the numbers and images of Zhou Yi and Fengshui.

His art activities and achievements were reported in the form of special report, interview, review, news, etc. by as many as twenty news media at home and abroad, the main news media of which included Finland National TV Station, Sweden National TV Station Channel 2, Sweden Education Broadcasting Station, Turkey General Radio TV Station, CCTV, Anhui TV Station, Jiangsu TV Station, China World Magazine, Sweden Esperanto Magazine, Turkey Art Magazine, China Art Observation Magazine, Art Magazine and Painter of Chinese Painting Magazine.
