1969年7月畢業(yè)于中國科學(xué)技術(shù)大學(xué)近代化學(xué)系地球化學(xué)專業(yè),1982年7月獲中國科學(xué)院地質(zhì)研究所地球化學(xué)碩士學(xué)位,1997年6月獲日本東北大學(xué)理學(xué)博士學(xué)位。
1973年1月至1979年7月在中國科學(xué)技術(shù)大學(xué)地球化學(xué)教研室任教。1982年8月至今,先后任中國科學(xué)院地質(zhì)研究所助理研究員、副研究員和中國科學(xué)院地質(zhì)研究所、中國科學(xué)院地質(zhì)與地球物理研究所研究員。1995年至2001年兼任中國礦物資源探查研究中心研究人員。
1995年至1998年赴美國賓夕法尼亞州立大學(xué)訪問學(xué)者。1996年11月至1997年8月在日本東北大學(xué)訪問。1999年-2005年期間先后作為訪問學(xué)者短期(1-3月)在香港大學(xué)、日本岡山大學(xué)地球內(nèi)部研究中心、德國美因茲馬普化學(xué)所和明斯特大學(xué)等訪問。
科學(xué)研究
長期從事穩(wěn)定同位素地球化學(xué)研究,目前集中在新元古代“雪球地球”、古海洋的氧化,以及與多細(xì)胞后生物演化之間關(guān)系。曾研究過多金屬礦床成因、地球深部流體、及重大地質(zhì)事件等。先后主持國家自然科學(xué)基金項(xiàng)目多項(xiàng)和重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目1項(xiàng)。曾參加或負(fù)責(zé)中國科學(xué)院創(chuàng)新項(xiàng)目和國家科技部重大基礎(chǔ)研究項(xiàng)目的課題多項(xiàng)研究。
