人物簡(jiǎn)歷
Hector Elizondo出生于1936年12月22日。 十歲的他被傳奇人物W.C. Handy(1873-1958)發(fā)掘，從此Hector 開始和W.C. Handy出現(xiàn)在地方廣播和電視上。 1954年，Hector考取了紐約城市大學(xué)，希望能成為一名歷史老師。 1955年他第一次結(jié)婚，生了一個(gè)兒子，但是在1957年便離了婚。 1962-1963年間他再次結(jié)婚，取了一位年輕的秘書。Hector繼續(xù)演出，后來在Actor’s Studio遇見了演員 Carolee Campbell 。她出演了NBC電視臺(tái)的肥皂劇《The Doctors》。他們于1969年結(jié)合，之后就一直幸福美滿。 Hector從舞臺(tái)表演成功轉(zhuǎn)型到出演電影，從1970年到今他出演了超過80部電影和電視電影。導(dǎo)演Garry Marshall把Hector當(dāng)作自己的幸運(yùn)星，他出演了Garry的12部電影，包括和Richard Gere出演《American Gigolo (1980)》，和Richard Gere Julia Roberts共同出演《Pretty Woman (1990)》，并且憑借這部電影Hector獲得了金球獎(jiǎng)最佳男配角的提名。
當(dāng)然，有Julia Roberts和Richard Gerend的電影不能沒有Hector，他們后來又共同合作了電影《Runaway Bride (1999)》，這部電影票房很好。
Hector的兒子Rodd Elizondo是一位老師，他還有一個(gè)孫女。Hector的愛好包括劍道，吉他和唱歌，還有他仍然還會(huì)玩小手鼓。
