龔蕓(Yun Gong)醫(yī)生是美國(guó)德克薩斯大學(xué)MD安德森癌癥中心 (The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA)病理學(xué)終身教授 (Professor with Tenure)。

1979年至1984 年就讀于浙江醫(yī)科大學(xué)(現(xiàn)浙江大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院)醫(yī)療系, 畢業(yè)后留校在組胚教研組任助教兩年。

1986年考取該校病理專業(yè)研究生，并于1989年獲碩士學(xué)位。

1989至1990 在中科院上海細(xì)胞所從事人-鼠單抗研究。

1991年前往荷蘭, 在 Department of Molecular and Developmental Genetics, Catholic University of Nijmegen從事分子遺傳學(xué)研究。

自1994起, 先后在美國(guó)加州大學(xué)圣地亞哥分校的醫(yī)學(xué)中心以及The Scripps Research Institute從事蛋白受體與心血管疾病發(fā)病機(jī)理的研究。

1998年至2002年，在芝加哥西北大學(xué) (Northwestern University) 接受解剖病理和臨床病理住院醫(yī)培訓(xùn)。繼而在休斯頓的德克薩斯大學(xué)MD安德森癌癥中心接受細(xì)胞病理學(xué)Fellowship專業(yè)培訓(xùn)并留院工作至今。

龔蕓醫(yī)生的主要研究領(lǐng)域是細(xì)胞學(xué)診斷和發(fā)展。她也熱衷于乳腺癌生物指標(biāo)的穩(wěn)定性與靶向治療關(guān)系的研究以及探索與乳腺癌個(gè)性化診斷治療有關(guān)的可行性研究。迄今，已發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文120篇,包括柳葉刀·腫瘤 (Lancet Oncology)，美國(guó)醫(yī)學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)刊 (JAMA)，美國(guó)臨床腫瘤學(xué)雜志(Journal of Clinical Oncology) 和癌癥期刊 (Cancer), 特邀綜述或評(píng)論18篇，會(huì)議摘要118篇, 獨(dú)立出書(shū)1本, 參與編寫(xiě)書(shū)籍章節(jié)6部。她是MD安德森癌癥中心多項(xiàng)乳腺癌科題的負(fù)責(zé)人或重要合作人, 參與乳腺癌基礎(chǔ)研究和臨床試驗(yàn)課題二十余項(xiàng)。她參與的炎性乳癌課題獲兩個(gè)Susan G. Komen Promise Grant資助。
