前 The Beach Boys 樂(lè)隊(duì)的隊(duì)長(zhǎng)。才華出眾的他卻只有一個(gè)耳朵能聽(tīng)的到。
2005年，Brian Wilson 獲得第47屆 格萊美獎(jiǎng)最佳搖滾樂(lè)器演奏獎(jiǎng)。
回到六○年代來(lái)看一看，有許多年輕藝術(shù)家在六○年代中期紛紛進(jìn)入錄音間，進(jìn)行充滿生命力與創(chuàng)意的實(shí)驗(yàn)，當(dāng)然，有些失敗了，而我們現(xiàn)在還會(huì)聽(tīng)到的大概都是經(jīng)過(guò)時(shí)代焠煉留下的作品。
其中有一個(gè)年輕人，非常崇拜 Phil Spector 聲音重復(fù)疊錄的技術(shù)，他就是 The Beach Boys 的團(tuán)長(zhǎng) Brian Wilson。
大家聽(tīng)到 The Beach Boys 一定想到一堆大男孩穿著短褲唱沖浪歌曲－－剛開(kāi)始的確是這樣。沖浪、 加州、陽(yáng)光、泡馬子都是他們歌曲的內(nèi)容，但這只是很短的時(shí)間。
因?yàn)樗麄兊牟湃A實(shí)在是太驚人，尤其是Brian Wilson，他是六○年代少數(shù)可以與John Lennon/ Paul McCartney這對(duì)寫(xiě)歌搭檔分庭抗禮的創(chuàng)作者。他只有一個(gè)耳朵能聽(tīng)的到。而且像Lennon/McCartney有兩個(gè)人，Brian Wilson也沒(méi)有George Martin這樣可以幫Beatles出主意、還會(huì)編寫(xiě)優(yōu)美弦樂(lè)的制作人，他只能靠自己。但他的才華將Beach Boys的音樂(lè)水平在某段時(shí)間內(nèi)，推到超越Beatles的程度，這是非常了不起的一件事。
后來(lái)因?yàn)楦?jìng)爭(zhēng)壓力太大、嗑藥過(guò)度，他消沈了很長(zhǎng)的時(shí)間。
